Every year for the past 3 years my husband and I along with a group of friends have done benefit rodeos the first year was make a wish and the last 2 years has been for Texas Outdoor C.H.I.L.D we visit many businesses asking for donations weather it me food drinks or a money donation every little bit helps us get the things we need to out on these rodeos and help these terminally ill kids this year we visited all the local brookshires buna silsbee ect... none of them was willing to help with anything then on a pass through kirbyville we stopped by the brookshires there and met Joe Howell we talked to him and told him what we were doing and he jumped all over it willing to help with anything we needed so we asked if it was possible if they could donate boudain and he said absolutely when we went to pick up the boudain it was there just like he said it would be but it was not just one case it was 3 and we found out that Mr.Howell and his wife had paid for it out of pocket... That shows us he is a man of his word and no matter what it took he was willing to help us help these kids.... all that being said I will be driving from evadale to kirbyville to shop at the kirbyville store even though silsbee is 5 miles from my house and I have to pass by the buna location to go to kirbyville.... Mr.Howell is a big hearted man and truly cares about the kids in this area and that means more than anything to all the people that help put on these rodeos and the ones that use the money to take these babies on these hunts and fishing trips...
